20 Day | Best of Namibia and Botswana Group Safari

Depart USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival connect with flight to Windhoek, Namibia. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight The Weinberg Hotel.

This morning (8:00am) you will depart with your guide and group and begin your overland safari. Visit the Okonjima’s AfriCat Day Centre en route to your camp. After the excursion you will enjoy a light lunch before you journey continues further north to your camp. You arrive in time for an afternoon game drive on the Ongava Game Reserve in an open game viewer with Ongava ranger, on shared basis with other lodge guests. Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities including game drives in Etosha National Park, game viewing by the waterhole and an afternoon game drive on the private Ongava Game Reserve. 3 nights Ongava Tented Camp or Andersson’s or Ongava Lodge.

This morning after breakfast you will continue your safari to the heart of Namibia, Damaraland, traveling through farmlands and the small towns. You will have a boxed picnic lunch enroute and arrive in time in time to enjoy fireside sundowners at Camp Doros. Enjoy two days of activities, including game drives and walks based from this camp. 3 nights Camp Doros.

After an early breakfast the drive today takes you south past Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg which peaks at 2,573 m above sea level, and west to meet the coast at Henties Bay. You then continue south to the coastal town of Swakopmund where you can enjoy the pleasant seaside location and cooler coastal air for the night. Overnight Desert Breeze.

After an early breakfast you depart on a fascinating drive which takes you south-east through awesome and ever-changing desert landscapes via the impressive Gaub and Kuiseb canyons to meet the dunes at the settlement of Solitaire. A picnic lunch will be had en route and you will continue onto the Namib Tsaris Conservancy. Arrival should be in the mid to late afternoon with enough time to acquaint yourself with the camp and enjoy a hot bucket shower before dinner. Full day of activities. 2 nights Camp Sossus.

After breakfast transfer by road to Windhoek (arriving approximately at 1:00 pm). Continue to your hotel where you have the evening at leisure. Overnight The Weinberg Hotel.

Fly inter-Africa flight from Windhoek to Victoria Falls. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Enjoy the day at leisure. Optional touring can be arranged. 2 nights Batonka Guest Lodge.

This morning you will be transferred across the border to Kasane, Botswana.  On arrival you will be met by your pilot and board the aircraft for your scheduled charter flight to your safari camp located in the Khwai Reserve, within the Okavango Delta. Enjoy three days of game viewing activities. 4 nights Sable Alley or Tuludi.

Take a scheduled charter flight to Maun, board your connecting flight to Johannesburg. Continue onward overnight to the USA. Welcome home!
