Itinerary Description

Begin your adventure in Namibia’s Skeleton Coast National Park, which runs from Terrace Bay north to the Kunene River. Continue to your next camp in the Hoanib region, uniquely characterized by desert-adapted wildlife and dramatic landscapes.

An exciting three-night flying safari in Botswana visiting a region within the Okavango Delta. Game viewing activities include morning and night game drives, mokoros, boating and guided walks. Your adventure ends with an overnight in Victoria Falls.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Windhoek

On arrival in Windhoek, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight The Weinberg Hotel.

Day 02+03

Windhoek/Doros/Skeleton Coast

Depart on your scheduled flight from Windhoek to Doros Nawas airstrip and onward scheduled charter flight to your camp in the Skeleton Coast region. The flights takes you north-west over the interior plateau and then over the striking geological features of Damaraland, flying over craters of long-dead volcanoes and meteorite impact sites. Arrive late afternoon and settle into camp. A short nature drive out into the desert for sundowner’s allows the opportunities of viewing the coming to life, at dusk, of this seemingly desolate area. Enjoy a day of activities. You will leave camp after breakfast and spend a full day exploring the park, one of the planet’s driest deserts, in 4×4 Land Rovers. Travel is through harsh, rough and rugged terrain traversing the sand dunes. A picnic lunch is enjoyed out in the wild with return to base camp in the late afternoon. Enjoy the breath-taking landscape scenes with springbok, ostrich and oryx dotted here and there. 2 nighs Shipwreck Lodge.

Day 04-06

Hoanib Valley

Following breakfast, board an overland vehicle for your scenic road transfer to your next camp, located in the Hoanib Valley. Enjoy an afternoon activity. Enjoy two days of activities. Game drives and nature walks offer opportunities to spot desert-adapted elephants, lions, mountain zebras, and giraffes. 3 nights Hoanib Valley Camp or Hoanib Elephant Camp.

Day 07

Windhoek

After breakfast take a return scheduled charter flight to Windhoek (via Doros Nawas) arriving in the afternoon. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight The Weinberg Hotel.

Day 08-10

Khwai Private Reserve

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your inter-Africa flight to Maun, Botswana. On arrival you will be met by your pilot and board the aircraft for your scheduled charter flight to your safari camp located in the Khwai Reserve, within the Okavango Delta. Enjoy an afternoon game activity. Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. 3 nights Sable Alley or Tuludi.

Day 11

Victoria Falls

This morning you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Kasane. On arrival you will be met by your driver and continue by vehicle across the border to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Time permitting an afternoon activity can be arranged. Overnight Palm River Hotel.

Day 12

Victoria Falls

Enjoy the morning at leisure. This afternoon transfer to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Johannesburg.
