Itinerary Description

This three countries safari combines a "bit of everything" that Southern Africa has to offer. Experience scenic Cape Town and mighty Victoria Falls. Enjoy some exciting and fantastic game viewing opportunities in Chobe or the Kwando Concession and the Okavango Delta in Botswana and a Kruger private game reserve in South Africa with the chance to see the "Big Five". Activities are varied – from morning and night game drives, guided walks, cultural village visits and game viewing by boat. Accommodations include hotels, permanent tented camps and lodges.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Johannesburg

Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight African Rock Hotel.

Day 02-04

Hoedspruit or Skukuza/Private Game Reserve

Take the hotel shuttle back to the airport. Depart today on your scheduled inter-Africa flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit or Skukuza. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp in a private game reserve. Activities include day and night game drives in open land rovers. In between game activities, a visit to the local village, where many of the guides are from, can be scheduled and guided walks. Enjoy two full days of game viewing. Value Option: 3 nights Notten’s, Kirkman’s Kamp or MalaMala Camp. Classic Option: 3 nights Savanna Lodge, Saseka Tented Camp or MalaMala Rattray’s.

Day 05

Victoria Falls

Morning flight to Mpumalanga Airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Livingstone, Zambia (or via Johannesburg to Victoria Falls). Transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is a good time to view the falls (park entry fee US$30 pp payable direct). Value Option: overnight Ilala Lodge. Classic Option: overnight Elephant Camp or Old Drift Lodge.

Day 06+07

Chobe National Park

This morning you will be met in your hotel lobby and transferred by road to Kasane, Botswana where you will clear Customs and then proceed on to your lodge in Chobe. Safari activities at include 4×4 game drives, boat cruises along the Chobe River, night drives, and cultural visits to local villages. Enjoy morning and afternoon activities from your camp. Value Option: 2 nights Muchenje Safari Lodge or Ngoma Safari Lodge. Classic Option: 2 nights Kwando Lebala or Kwando Lagoon.

Day 08-10

Okavango Delta

Following breakfast, transfer to the Kasane Airport for your scheduled charter flight to your camp located in the Okavango Delta. Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. Value Option: 3 nights Sable Alley or Gomoti Plains. Classic Option: 3 nights Kwando Splash Camp or Duba Explorers Camp or Tuludi Camp.

Day 11-13

Cape Town

Following breakfast in camp, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Maun. Connect to your scheduled Inter-Africa flight to Cape Town. Enjoy full-day group Winelands and Peninsula Tours during your stay in Cape Town. Value Option: 3 nights Victoria & Alfred Hotel. Classic Option; 3 nights Cape Grace Hotel.

Day 14

Cape Town/Johannesburg/Depart

This morning enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Later today you will be transferred to the Cape Town International Airport.
