Depart on your overnight international flight to Europe. Arrive Europe next morning. Connect with your international flight to Entebbe, Uganda. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Hotel No.5.
Day 03 – This morning you will be met by your guide and vehicle and drive to Kibale Forest (7 hours) with lunch en-route. You will pass through Fort Portal, forest and tea plantations. On Day 04, you will depart on morning and afternoon chimp treks. The chimp walk is on well-marked trails in this beautiful rain forest where there is very little undergrowth due to the full canopy overhead. Even though considered easy, it is advisable to wear trekking boots and have rain gear available. Lasting for three to five hours the main objective is to see chimps in their natural habitat 2 nights Ndali Lodge.
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (3-4 hours) following the Ruwenzori Mountain Range. Enjoy a late afternoon private boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Overnight Mweya Lodge.
Following breakfast, enjoy a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon depart to your camp in the Ishasha Region, enjoying a game drive enroute. Day 07 – Enjoy a day of game viewing in the Ishasha region of Queen Elizabeth National Park. 2 nights Ishasha Wilderness Camp.
Enjoy an early morning game drive and then continue by road to your camp in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Overnight Gorilla Forest Camp.
This morning you will depart on your first gorilla trek taking a picnic lunch with you. What a thrill to get up close with “Gorillas in the Mist” in the Buhoma region of Bwindi Forest! Your viewing of the gorillas will be limited to a maximum of only one hour. One must be prepared for a strenuous hike of 1-6 hours each way; however 2-3 hours is more usual. A further day at leisure to either participate in an additional gorilla trek or enjoy an other local activities (additional costs apply). 2 nights Gorilla Forest Camp.
After an early breakfast you will be transferred to Kisoro, via Cyanika where you will clear customs and continue into Rwanda and onto your lodge situated adjacent to Volcanoes National Park. Overnight Amakoro Songa.
This morning you will be transferred to the park gate at Kinigi for your second gorilla trek in Volcanoes. Here you will meet your tracker and enjoy a further exhilerating encounter with the mountain gorillas. Following your trek you will return to your lodge. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Amakoro Songa.
This morning you will have a tour of Genocide Museum and local craft market. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. This evening you will be transferred to the airport for your departing overnight flight to Amsterdam. Morning arrival in Amsterdam. Onward connecting flight to USA. Optional dayroom: Kigali Serena Hotel.
