Itinerary Description

This is a Signature safari highlighting the extraordinary guides in Zimbabwe and operates as an exclusive group with up to 6 people per departure. We have combined the top wildlife areas of Hwange and Mana Pools National Parks with Savé Valley Conservancy. Take game drives in open vehicles, and enjoy active walking and canoeing in Mana Pools. Search for black rhino in the Savé Valley Conservancy. Accommodations are in two permanent tented camps and end with the thrill of mobile camping in the remote Savé Valley Conservancy.

Your safari includes a donation to Hwange Conservation and Wildlife Trust and Mana Bushlife Conservancy.

We personally know your guides Nick Murray, and Dave Carsons who are leading the trips. The guides are some of the best in Africa and will be a highlight of the trip! This safari operates as an exclusive group with up to 6 persons per departure.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Johannesburg

Upon arrival in Victoria Falls, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Batonka Guest Lodge.

Day 02-04

Hwange

Morning tour of Victoria Falls. Transfer to the airport for your scheduled charter flight to Hwange. On arrival you will be met by your Specialist Guide, Dave Carson and vehicle and continue to camp. Enjoy an afternoon game activity. Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. 3 nights Hwange Bush Camp.

Day 05-08

Mana Pools

This morning you will transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Mana Pools National Park. On arrival you will be met by your Specialist private guide, Nick Murray and continue to camp. Enjoy an afternoon game activity. Enjoy three full days of game viewing with your Specialist Guide taking game drives and walks. Encounters may include finding one of the resident bull elephants and/or one of the few wild dog packs that allow close approach on foot. Canoeing down the Zambezi River will be a highlight of your time in Mana Pools. You are doing your own canoeing with the current in sturdy 18ft Canadian canoes. Paddle your way through the sand banks and islands, watching pods of hippo or elephants wallowing at midday to cool off. If you prefer, you can sit in the canoe with a paddler. As there is a Land Rover back-up vehicle, game drives are taken, along with walks to explore and appreciate the rich floodplain and river channels of Mana Pools National Park. This is not a safari to prove how many kilometers you can paddle in a day. 4 nights at Vundu Camp.

Day 09-11

Savé Valley Conservancy

Continue by private charter flight to Harare, stopping briefly to refuel, before continuing to your next camp located in the Savé Valley Conservancy. On arrival you will be met by your Private senior camp guide. Enjoy an afternoon game activity. Experience two exciting days of game viewing activities with your private guide. 3 nights Sango Expedition Camp.

Day 12

Sango/Harare/ Johannesburg/Depart

Bid your guide farewell as you transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Harare. Connect with your inter-Africa flight to Johannesburg.
