Itinerary Description

Combines two fabulous Photographic safari experiences for a great value trip! Some exciting and fantastic game viewing opportunities in south-eastern Botswana at Mashatu, and at the MalaMala Private Game Reserve in South Africa. Activities include day and night game drives plus optional adventures such as walking safaris, mountain biking, horseback riding and village visits. Accommodations are in thatched safari lodges and permanent tented camps.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01+02

USA/Johannesburg

Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg, South Africa. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the InterContinental JNB OR Tambo.

Day 03-06

Tuli-Mashatu

This morning you will be transferred to the Lanseria Airport for your scheduled charter flight to the Mashatu Game Reserve.  Activities included are day and night game drives. There are optional activities including guided walking safaris, mountain bike riding, a day(s) spent in a photographic hide, and fabulous horse trail trips available at extra cost. 4 nights Mashatu Tented Camp, Mashatu Lodge, Tuli Safari Lodge or Mashatu Euphorbia.

Day 07

Tzaneen

After a morning activity depart by private road transfer to Tzaneen. The drive from the Pont Drift Border Post to Tzaneen and onto the hotel is approximately 3 1/2hrs. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Sherwood’s Country House.

Day 08-10

Private Game Reserve

Depart on scheduled charter flight to Mala Mala. Arrive at your camp/lodge in time for an afternoon activity. Enjoy two further days of gameviewing activities including day and night game drives. 3 nights MalaMala Camp or Rattray’s Camp.

Day 11+12

Game Reserve/Skukuza/Johannesburg/USA

Early this morning you will be transferred to Skukuza for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. This evening This evening you will connect with your overnight flight. Depart to USA. Welcome home!
