Itinerary Description

Uganda, "The Pearl of Africa", is situated astride the Equator and boasts a wide and diverse landscape - from rugged, snow-capped mountains to the vast flat lands.  Experience the thrill of gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. There are 2 options, a fly-in option from Entebbe or driving from Kigali. A variety of accommodations are offered including Gorilla Forest Camp in the Buhoma Region or  Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge in the Kisoro Region (Nkuringo side).

Day by Day Itinerary

OPTION 1

ENTEBBE

On arrival in Entebbe you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Hotel No. 5. 

Day 02

Bwindi

This morning you will be transferred to the Entebbe Airport where you will board your scheduled charter flight to the Kihihi airstrip in Bwindi. On arrival you will be met and driven to your camp. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Overnight Mahogany Springs Lodge or Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 03

Bwindi-Buhoma Region

Have an early breakfast this morning before driving to the park for your first gorilla visit. Your trek takes you up through villages before you enter into the forest (usually two-three hours).

Day 04

Bwindi-Buhoma Region

Today you will have your second gorilla trek. Return to camp.

Day 05

Bwindi/Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast in camp. Transfer by vehicle to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Entebbe International Airport for your departing flight.

OPTION 2

KIGALI

On arrival in Kigali you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Kigali Serena Hotel.

Day 02

Kigali-Bwindi-Kisoro Region

This morning you will depart with your private guide and drive to the Uganda border, clear customs and continue to Bwindi. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Overnight Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge or Clouds Mountain Lodge.

Day 03+04

Bwindi-Kisoro Region (Nkuringo)

Enjoy two gorilla treks, visiting two different groups.

Day 05

Kisoro/Kigali

This morning you will depart with your driver-guide and return to Kigali. Onward to the airport for your departing flight.
