Itinerary Description

This is a signature Africa Adventure Company safari discovering the “hidden gems” of Zimbabwe and Zambia. We have combined the top wildlife areas in Zimbabwe of Mana Pools and Hwange National Park with Zambia's iconic South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi.
Experience game drives in open vehicle and active game viewing ventures of walking in each park and canoeing in Mana Pools. The accommodations are the ideal mix of small permanent tented camps and a boutique hotel in Victoria Falls. Spend two nights in Victoria Falls where you will have time to visit one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Johannesburg

On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met and escorted to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight InterContinental OR Tambo Hotel.

Day 02-04

Fly Johannesburg – Harare – Mana Pools

This morning you will have a return transfer back to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Harare. Continue by a scheduled charter flight to Mana Pools. You will be met on the airstrip by your guide and taken on a game drive to your camp arriving in time for an afternoon activity. Enjoy two days of morning and afternoon game activities. 3 nights Vundu Camp.

Day 05-07

Fly Mana Pools – Hwange

Depart on an onward scheduled charter flight to Hwange National Park. On arrival you will be met by a driver and transferred to your camp. Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. 3 nights Little Makalolo.

Day 08+09

Fly Hwange – Victoria Falls

Onward scheduled charter flight to Victoria Falls where you will be transferred by road to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Next morning enjoy the day at leisure with a selection of several Optional Tours. 2 nights Palm River Hotel.

Day 10-12

Fly Livingstone – Lusaka – Mfuwe – South Luangwa

Today you will transfer across the border to Livingstone, Zambia and the international airport.  Board your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Lusaka. Onward connecting flight to Mfuwe. Upon arrival you will be met by a representative who will drive you to your lodge. The drive to the camp will take you past numerous villages until you reach the lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing activity. Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. 3 nights Kaingo Camp.

Day 13-15

Fly Mfuwe – Jeki Lower – Zambezi

Transfer this morning to the Mfuwe airport for your inter-Africa flight to Jeki airstrip, Lower Zambezi National Park. From here you will be transferred to your camp which is situated along the lower Zambezi River, on the opposite side of Mana Pools National Park (Zimbabwe). Enjoy an afternoon game activity.

Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. Activities include day and night game drives, boating safaris, catch and release fishing and bush walks. 3 nights Kutali or Anabezi.

Day 16

Fly Jeki - Lusaka - Depart

Today you will transfer to the airstrip and board your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Lusaka.
