Anabezi

Classic A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.

Anabezi overlooks a vast plain leading to the banks of the Zambezi River. The camp and its ten tents blend luxury with rustic authenticity. Each tent features an en suite toilet, hand basin and outdoor shower. From your private deck and plunge pool, you will be rewarded with visiting elephant, buffalo, waterbuck, and hippo grazing on the plains. The area is also home to lion, leopard, hyena and other antelope including bushbuck.

All activities occur within Lower Zambezi National Park. Game drives are conducted in four wheel drive vehicles. Safaris on foot can be organized, being particularly rewarding for those keen to be closer to nature. A channel of the Zambezi passes just beside the lodge and offers excellent boating and fishing. Good sized Tiger Fish and Bream catches are routine.
