Itinerary Description

A classic family safari to Zambia staying in family tents and an exclusive villa style safari-house. that combines the South Luangwa floodplain ecosystem with the Lower Zambezi riverine ecosystem. Visitors can experience day and night game drives in open vehicles as well as participate in walking and canoeing safaris. Begin with a visit to Victoria Falls.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01+02

Johannesburg

Depart this morning on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg make your way to South Africa’s first and only luxury hotel at an airport. Overnight InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport Hotel.

Day 03+04

Livingstone (Victoria Falls)

This morning make your way back to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Livingstone. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your lodge.
Enjoy two days of complimentary activities including: Sunrise / Sunset Zambezi River Activities; High Tea Zambezi River Experiences; Victoria Falls Guided Tour (Zambian side); Mukwa Picnic Lunches in various locations on the Mukwa Property; Livingstone Town Tour including the local markets and museums; Zambian cooking class and dining experience; Tiger fishing (Seasonal – June to Mid-December); Guided birding walks; Complimentary Mountain bikes; Local foraging walks (seasonal); and Village Cultural Tour (School and Creative Centre visits also available). 2 nights Mukwa River Lodge (2-Bedroom Mukwa Cottage).

Day 05

South Luangwa National Park

Connect with your scheduled charter flight to Mfuwe Airport. Upon arrival you will be met by a representative who will take you to your first lodge. The drive to the camp will take you past numerous villages until you reach the lodge. 3 nights Mfuwe Lodge – Director’s House.

Day 06+07

South Luangwa National Park

Two days of game viewing activities including morning walks and day and night game drives.

Day 08

Lower Zambezi

Transfer to Mfuwe for your charter flights to Jeki and onward to camp situated in the Lower Zambezi National Park along the Lower Zambezi River on the opposite side of Mana Pools National Park. The park is home to prides of Lion, elephant, buffalo, Hippopotamus, Leopard and antelope. Activities include game drives in open vehicles, guided walks, canoeing, boating and fishing. 3 nights Anabezi (Family Tent) 

Day 09+10

Lower Zambezi

Two full days of game viewing.

Day 11+12

Lower Zambezi / Lusaka / Johannesburg

Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight transfer from Jeki Airstrip to Lusaka. Connect with your onward scheduled flight to Johannesburg. Depart on your overnight international flight.
