Mfuwe Lodge
Mfuwe Lodge, set beneath a canopy of ebony and mahogany trees, is located in the South Luangwa National Park and offers guests a relaxed atmosphere from which to explore the park. The lodge consists of 18 luxury air-conditioned en suite thatched chalets, each with their own secluded verandah. Set around two lagoons the main area is open plan and features a lounge, dining and bar area. Guests can enjoy relaxing by the swimming pool overlooking the lagoon.
Activities include day and night game drives. A major claim to fame for this lodge is that it is where ‘the elephants walk through the lobby’ to visit the wild mango tree nearby (seasonally takes place late-October to mid-December).
