Itinerary Description

Begin in Victoria Falls. Zimbabwe, where you will have the opportunity to experience the world’s greatest sheet of falling water and one of the seven wonders of the world - the Mighty Falls!
Continue to Botswana's Okavango Delta and spend three nights at a beautiful safari camp, located in a private concession. Enjoy two full days of game viewing!
Explore cosmopolitan Cape Town surrounded by nature and centered around Table Mountain, known for its beautiful beaches, stunning biodiversity, award-winning food and wine, and sheer variety of experiences on offer. End your time with 3 nights in the Grootbos Nature Reserve, experiencing the “Marine Big Five- southern right whale, bottle nose dolphin, Cape fur seal, great white shark and the African penguin.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Johannesburg

On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met and assisted through customs and immigration, the collection of your luggage and escorted to your hotel.  Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight InterContinental Hotel.

Day 02

Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Make your way back to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Victoria Falls.  On arrival you will be met and privately transferred to your hotel. This afternoon you will enjoy a sunset cruise on the Ra-Ikane. Overnight Palm River or The Wallow.

Day 03

Victoria Falls

This morning you will enjoy a tour of Victoria Falls. You are accompanied by an experienced guide, who after a brief history and explanation of the Falls escorts you through the winding paths pointing out and elaborating on points of interest. You are also given information on the plants, birds and other wildlife that you come across. Following the tour you will be transferred to the Lookout Café where you will enjoy lunch (drinks payable directly). Return transfer back to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Palm River or The Wallow.

Day 04

Okavango Delta

This morning you will be transferred across the border to Kasane, Botswana.  On arrival you will be met by your pilot and board the aircraft for your scheduled charter flight to your safari camp located in a region within the Okavango Delta. Enjoy an afternoon/night shared game drive. Overnight Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp or Tawana Camp.

Day 05+06

Okavango Delta

Enjoy two days of shared game viewing activities. 2 nights Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp or Tawana Camp.

Day 07

Cape Town

Enjoy breakfast and an early morning shared game drive. Afterwards you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Maun. Onward scheduled inter-Africa flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel, located in the very heart of this internationally acclaimed destination and is a sophisticated retreat amid the buzz. It offers some of the most enviable views of Cape Town Harbor, Table Mountain and the slick city that stretches out at the foot of this Natural Wonder. Enjoy the rest of the day leisurely exploring Cape Town! Overnight Victoria & Alfred Hotel or Cape Grace.

Day 08

Cape Town

This morning you will be collected from your hotel for your private full-day Peninsula tour. Overnight Victoria & Alfred Hotel or Cape Grace.

Day 09

Grootbos Private Nature Reserve

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up and privately transferred to your lodge, located on the Grootbos Nature Reserve. Enjoy an afternoon activity. Overnight Grootbos Forest Lodge.

Day 10+11

Grootbos Private Nature Reserve

Enjoy two days of activities or simply relaxing. One of the days a special romantic meal will be arranged for you. Enjoy an al fresco picnic with your toes in the beach sand, sipping cocktails as you watch the sun set.  OR enjoy a uniquely South African meal in our boma as you watch the fire embers burning low. Grootbos activities include:horse riding/pony rides, guided walks including fynbos nature tours and Milkwood walks, Nature, marine & coastal drives and walks including the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, De Kelders cliff walk, Klipgat Cave combined with seasonal land-based whale watching, transfers to/from all activities. 2 nights Grootbos Forest Lodge.

Day 12

Cape Town/Depart

Today you will be privately transferred to the Cape Town International Airport.
