Mark Nolting Named to CNT Top Travel Specialist List

May 20, 2015 AAC Events

Conde Nast

Africa Adventure Company CEO Mark Nolting has been named to Condé Nast Traveler’s newly released Travel Specialist list as one of the influential title’s top picks for Safaris for Families. Mark is just one of two chosen in the family safari category, and one of only seven safari specialists selected; an incredible accomplishment.

CNT says their curated group of specialists will “pull off the impossible and spare you the logistics,” and have lauded their curated list of specialists as being the best in the industry with “insider connections to transform even the most well-worn itinerary into a once-in-a-lifetime experience, all with an eye to value.”

Here are just a few of Mark’s unique, engaging, and exciting safari activities for families:

— Water based activities in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, such as game viewing in traditional mokoros (flat-bottom, dug-out canoes)

— Walking, riding, and interacting with elephants at Abu Camp in Botswana

— Outdoorsy families with tweens and teenagers get thoroughly engaged with nature at the tented Serengeti Seasonal Explorer Camp for the Great Migration

CNT’s write up of Mark is as follows:

The author of Africa’s Top Wildlife Countries and African Safari Journal & Field Guide, Nolting specializes in retreats to private game reserves untainted by crowds. He’s also been on a dozen safaris with his two sons, so he’s experienced in arranging adventures—think white-water rafting on the Zambezi, playing soccer with Maasai schoolchildren, or crafting bows and arrows with Bushmen—that appeal to a multi-generational family.

Congratulations Mark!
