Conservation & Community Projects

October 20, 2020 The Africa Adventure Company

The African bush’s enduring timelessness is a rare comfort in a tough year for people in the African tourism industry. But with more and more countries reopening their borders, there is a new glimmer of hope for the lodge staff and guides that have been left without income. Despite this, many of them still come to work, motivated by their collective purpose to preserve Africa’s precious ecosystems. Our Making a Difference Fund, I am proud to say, has helped these people over the last several months.

“Don’t save rhinos just because you think you should. Save them knowing that, beneath the rhino’s suit of armor beats a huge, soft heart and a vast intelligence that can teach us so much. Save them because rhinos have been around for 50 million years. Do you really want them to go extinct on your watch?” – Lauren St John
