Clients Trip Reports Southern Africa: Oct – Dec 2025
Safari to South Africa
Here is a review of our safari. First of all, let me say that all of them had great guides and trackers. They were patient and helpful and very informative. The food was also excellent.
We appreciated the help your team on the ground gave us for all of our flights, connections, luggage and Immigration.
Walkers Plains Camp was excellent and truly deserved 5 stars. This family-run facility went out of their way to help us and made us feel welcome. The manager talked to us every day, and we even met Mrs. Walker. They have an excellent chef who grows his own herbs for our meals. The guide and tracker were outstanding and the rooms very spacious and clean.

Jock Safari Lodge…This was also a 5-star lodge. The accommodations were very nice; The outdoor tub, and bed was a nice touch. Food was excellent and the staff very accommodating; even sharing some of their culture with us – calling us to dinner with a drum…

Flying Safari to Botswana & Extension to Cape Town
Hi Miles,
We are back from our trip and doing well except for the jet lag! It was a great trip that all went perfectly…
Here’s our feedback:
– Chitabe had lots of animals, including two male giraffes who had a big physical fight! Staff were all wonderful.
– Duma Tau was also very nice. Not as many animals, but the ambiance was lovely. We especially enjoyed our evening boat rides.

– Both camps accommodated my food allergies and Mara’s vegetarian diet.
– Cape Cadogan Hotel was really lovely, with great staff. Our flight on the last day was not until 10 pm. We were supposed to check out in the morning and the hotel said they had a day room that we could use in the later afternoon. But then, no one was checking in to our room so we were able to keep our room all day. Worked out great!
– Also, really liked the Cape Cadogan Hotel location off Kloof St. since it was near lots of restaurants but still quiet.
– Ate at Kloof St. House one night – good food.

– Our Cape Town guide gave us a great tour of the peninsula area and penguins and botanical gardens. He was good source of historical information and very friendly!

– I had been worried about the heat at this time of year but we lucked out and had several cloudy days and even some rain, so it was manageable.
Thanks for putting together a great trip for us! We really appreciate the attention to detail from your team!

Botswana Flying Safari with Cape Town
Dear Mark and Team,
We enjoyed our safari thoroughly and loved every minute of it. Similar to our 2017 experience, the logistics of travel were perfectly coordinated by your team, and we were very happy with the camps, guides, and wildlife viewing.

Kings Pool Camp
We had a very positive experience at the camps and on the game drives.

Safari to Botswana
Our trip to Botswana was outstanding. Highlights are as follows:
- The Residence Hotel Johannesburg – we were given the Penthouse room which was remarkable. Staff were extremely thoughtful and helpful, food was excellent.
- The Victoria Falls Hotel – Outstandingly helpful staff. Highly enjoyable High Tea. Access to the VIP room proved to be great fun. Food excellent.
- Traditional Village Tour – an enlightening experience as we learned to respect the tribal standard of living and way of life. A truly eye-opening experience. The village makes its own natural gas (methane from cow manure). Members make their own paint from clay and water. Poisonous snakes, lions and other predators threaten daily.
- Guided Tour of the Falls with Precious – a very informative and humorous person who has a very high regard for Alison Nolting for her support of local charities.
- Rhino Game Drive- we saw two black rhinos. Very lucky.
- All Kwando Camps, Lebala, Lagoon and Kwara – Excellent staff, food, guides, and trackers. Kwara was exceptional. The send-off singing and dancing ceremony brought tears to Susan’s eyes…

Thank you for such a fabulous experience.
Bottom line – Thank you for such a well-conceived and thoroughly enjoyable trip!!
Thank you.

Wildlife Adventure to Madagascar and Zambia
Hi Alison,
Our trip to Madagascar and Zambia exceeded our expectations! As always, your organization was superb and we had no issues with any of the logistics, despite multiple flights and connections. Both your teams on the ground in Madagascar and Zambia were organized and efficient. We had absolutely no issues related to the recent civil unrest in Madagascar and were very pleased that we’d made the decision to go ahead.
The highlight of Madagascar was definitely the wildlife, particularly the lemurs, but we’re also converts to the wonders of reptiles! Our guides in each location were great…enthusiastic and very knowledgeable – and the drivers in Tana/Andasibe and Fort Dauphin/Berenty were lovely. Masoala was a real highlight – it’s a lovely camp in a beautiful location. The food was delicious and staff were delightful…

All the camps in Zambia were wonderful – beautiful accommodation and fantastic staff. We had excellent guides in each of the locations… The EVs at Chisa were a revelation and really enhanced the wildlife viewing we felt. In terms of accommodation, Lolebezi was definitely the standout of the trip – we were in room 1 which had an additional sitting area and was just beautiful. Food was outstanding and staff could not have been more helpful. We absolutely loved it and appreciated that you always seem to finish each trip on a high! We saw lots of amazing wildlife throughout Zambia, with particular highlights being a few animals we’d never seen before – big packs of wild dogs at Busanga and Lower Zambezi, a civet and several genet.

I will leave the photography side of things to Len, who got lots of incredible shots.
Thanks so much for another incredible holiday. We’re constantly recommending you to anyone considering a trip to Africa and would never go there without you! We’re already tentatively thinking about another Africa trip in 2027.
Kind regards

Safari to Botswana
As my first safari ever, this journey was the most exhilarating experience I’ve ever had. From the moment the plane landed in Johannesburg until my return flight, every aspect of the trip exceeded my wildest expectations. Each camp offered a unique yet similar experience, creating a diverse range of adventures. The expertise of our guides was instrumental in allowing us to get up close and personal with the animals, making the experience truly unforgettable.
Kyle’s meticulous planning and the private dinner at Jack’s Camp, generously provided by the AAC, added a touch of luxury to our trip.
However, Jack’s Camp truly stood out as our final destination. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was truly exceptional. Linyanti Bush Camp, Mma Dinare, and Little Machaba were particularly remarkable, thanks to the exceptional support of the staff and our guide.

Every aspect of our accommodations exceeded my expectations. The included activities were outstanding, from the thrilling helicopter ride to the exhilarating ATV drives in the Salt Pans. The presentation of the food was also exceptional, showcasing the culinary talents of the local chefs.
I can’t express my gratitude enough for the entire experience. The highlights included observing the animals in their natural habitat, particularly the meerkats, and the incredible moment when we found the baby leopard. Simply being present and witnessing these magnificent creatures in their environment was an unforgettable experience.

Thanks to Kyle and The Africa Adventure Company for making this trip full of unforgettable memories.
