Itinerary Description

This exciting safari highlights the best of Botswana and Zimbabwe utilizing African Bush Camps’ portfolio, offering UNPARALLELED SAVINGS! Visit two distinct regions of Botswana including the Khwai Concession, within the Okavango Delta, followed by the Linyanti Reserve. Enjoy three nights in each camp. Continue to Livingstone, Zambia where you have the opportunity to visit the world famous Victoria Falls. End your safari in Zimbabwe, with time in Hwange and a choice between Mana Pools, known for walking safaris and canoeing on the Zambezi River, or Lake Kariba. You are based three nights in each camp.

Day by Day Itinerary

Days 01+02

USA/Johannesburg

Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and escorted to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight InterContinental O.R. Tambo Hotel.

Days 03-05

Okavango Delta

Return private transfer back to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Maun, Botswana. On arrival you will be met by your pilot and board the aircraft for your scheduled charter flight to your first safari camp situated in the Khwai Concession. 3 nights Khwai Leadwood.

Days 06-08

Linyanti Reserve

Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by brunch in camp.  Depart on your scheduled charter flight to your next camp within the Linyanti Reserve. Enjoy two full days of game activities. 3 nights Linyanti Bush Camp.

Days 09+10

Livingstone

Board your scheduled charter flight to Kasane. On arrival you will be met and transferred by vehicle to the Kazangula Ferry border post, where you will clear customs out of Botswana. Board a small boat and cross the Zambezi River to Livingstone, Zambia. Here they clear customs into Zambia, disembark the boat and onward road transfer to your lodge. 2 nights Thorntree River Lodge.

Days 11-13

Hwange National Park

Depart this morning and transfer across the Zimbabwe border to the Victoria Falls Airport. Board your scheduled charter flight to Hwange National Park. 3 nights Somalisa Camp or Somalisa Acacia.

Days 14-16

Mana Pools OR Lake Kariba

Board your scheduled charter flight to your next camp, located in Mana Pools or Lake Kariba. 3 nights Nyamatusi or Bumi Hills.

Days 17+18

Overnight Travel

Board your scheduled charter flight to Harare. Onward inter-Africa flight to Johannesburg. Depart this evening on your overnight international flight. Welcome Home!
