Itinerary Description

This itinerary combines the South Luangwa floodplain ecosystem and the Lower Zambezi. Experience day and night game drives in open vehicles as well as participate in walking and canoeing safaris. Your accommodations are thatched chalets or rustic tented safari camps all with en suite bathrooms. The true thrill of any safari to Zambia is the adrenaline rush of a walking safari and canoeing down the Zambezi! End with a night in Livingstone and a tour of Victoria Falls and a sunset cruise.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Lusaka

On arrival in Lusaka, you will be met and privately transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Latitudes 15.

Day 02+03

Fly Lusaka/Mfuwe/South Luangwa

This morning you will be transferred back to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Mfuwe. On arrival you will be met and be transferred to your camp. Enjoy an afternoon shared game activity. Next morning enjoy a day of game viewing activities such as morning walks and day and night game drives. 2 nights Tafika Camp or Kapamba Camp or Kaingo Camp.

Day 04+05

South Luangwa/Mfuwe/Jeki - Lower Zambezi

Depart this morning from Mfuwe on your scheduled flight to Jeki and onward to your camp located in the Lower Zambezi National Park. Enjoy two full days of game viewing. 2 nights Olimba Camp or Chamilandu or Mwamba Bush Camp.

Day 06-09

Mfuwe/Jeki - Lower Zambezi

Depart this morning from Mfuwe on your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Jeki and onward to your camp located in the Lower Zambezi National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game activity. Enjoy three days of game viewing activities. 4 nights Kutali Camp or Old Mondoro.

Day 10+11

Jeki – Lusaka/Livingstone

This morning board your scheduled charter flight to Livingstone. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your lodge. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Your lodge offers a complimentary sunset cruise on the Zambezi, an ideal way to end your safari adventure. Next morning enjoy the day participating in one of your lodge’s complimentary activities. Guests may choose one of the following experiences per day:
1 x Victoria Falls day trip per stay, horse ride for all levels of rider, sunrise or sunset cruise, Zambezi lunchtime floating picnic, accompanied bushwalks in the woodlands on our horse ranch, mountain bike tour of our horse ranch, nearby villages and farmlands. 2 nights Chundunkwa River Lodge or Mukwa River Lodge.

Day 12

Livingstone/Johannesburg/Depart

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Johannesburg.
