A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Class A," but located in a sub-standard game-viewing area.
Chamilandu Camp consists of three grass-and-thatch chalets, built on wooden decks, with en suite facilities. The six-foot-high tree house chalets are elegantly designed with a tasteful blend of modern classic decor and provide a bird’s eye view over the waters of the Luangwa River and Chindeni Hills.
The camp offers comfort, class and beauty in one of South Luangwa's prime remote river locations. A series of seven ox-box lagoons yield a diversity of wildlife and attract abundant wildlife. Walks and limited day and night game drives are offered.
