Itinerary Description

This program is ideal for families as it offers fantastic family friendly lodges that include activities for all ages. Begin with three nights at Samara Karoo Reserve. Three nights in Cape Town gives you time to explore V&A Waterfront, the Cape Peninsula, surrounding coastal area, Franschhoek and magnificent Table Mountain. Finish with a three night stay at Londolozi Private Game Reserve - offering Big Five game viewing.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Johannesburg

On arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met and privately transferred to your airport hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Four Seasons Hotel ‘The Westcliff’.

Day 02-04

Samara Karoo Reserve

This morning you will be transferred back to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Port Elizabeth. On arrival you will be met and transferred by vehicle to your lodge located within the Samara Karoo Reserve. Enjoy three days of game viewing with your private guide and vehicle. 3 nights Karoo Lodge at Samara or Jaci’s Sabi House.

Day 05

Cape Town

Today you will transfer to the Port Elizabeth Airport for your inter-Africa flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and continue to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. 3 nights Cape Grace Hotel.

Day 06+07

Cape Town

Day 06 – Enjoy the use of a vehicle and guide for a full day to take you where and when you want to go. (Entrance fees and meals are payable directly).

Day 07 – This morning you will be picked up at your hotel and participate in a half-day cultural experience. This is not a township tour, but rather a heartfelt cultural exploration that gives you an insight into the history of South Africa and the lives people encounter in the townships. This half day trip included visits to a community vegetable garden, a day care orphanage and an entrepreneurship & education project.

Day 08

Londolozi Private Game Reserve

This morning you will be private transferred to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Skukuza Airport. On arrival you will be met and have a scheduled transfer to your game lodge.  Enjoy a private afternoon/night game drive. 3 nights Londolozi Pioneer Lodge.

Day 09+10

Londolozi Private Game Reserve

Enjoy two days of game viewing with your private guide/vehicle.

Day 11

Skukuza/Johannesburg

You will be transferred to the Skukuza Airport Depart on your scheduled flight to Johannesburg.
