Itinerary Description

This flying safari visits the remote parks of the "Southern Circuit". Experience the true adventure of private open-vehicle game drives, shared guided walking safaris and in Nyerere you have game viewing on the river!
You’ll enjoy three nights in Ruaha and three nights in Nyerere National Park (formerly the Selous). Your adventure ends with a secluded island retreat of Fanjove. Exciting marine and water-based activities are offered as well as just relaxing.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Dar es Salaam

On arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be met and transferred to your hotel.  Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Hyatt Dar es Salaam.

Day 02

Ruaha

Today you will transfer to the airport for your scheduled charter flight to Ruaha National Park. Enjoy an afternoon private game activity. Overnight Laba Jongomero Camp or Jabali Ridge. 

Day 03+04

Ruaha

Enjoy two days of private game viewing activities including guided bush walks, picnics and sundowners. 2 nights Laba Jongomero Camp or Jabali Ridge.

Day 05

Nyerere

Today you will transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to your next camp located in the Nyerere National Park (formerly the Selous). Enjoy an afternoon private game drive. Overnight Laba Siwandu Camp.

Day 06+07

Nyerere

Enjoy two days of private game viewing activities including walking and river safaris with your guide. 2 nights Laba Siwandu Camp.

Day 08

Fanjove

Depart on your scheduled charter flight to Dar es Salaam.  Onward connecting scheduled charter flight to Songo Songo Island.  Upon arrival you will be met and transferred by road and boat to your island retreat. Enjoy the remainder of day at leisure. Overnight Laba Fanjove Island.

Day 09-11

Fanjove Island

Three days at leisure. Activities included in your stay are marine safari (dolphins), snorkeling by boat and from the beach, Sand Beach excursion & picnic (with snorkeling), Dhow Sailing, Sea kayaks and paddle boards. 3 nights Laba Fanjove Island.

Day 12

Dar es Salaam

Transfer boat and road to the Songo Songo airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Dar es Salaam.
