Itinerary Description

This Royal Egyptian Tour is an opening to the cradle of Egypt's culture and history. In ancient times it was the Nile people who were the most civilized and most famous and who developed the civilization along the Nile River.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive Cairo

On arrival in Cairo you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Four Seasons Nile Plaza.

Day 02

Cairo

Today with your private driver and Egyptologist you will have a full day of sightseeing. Your day will include a visit to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Lunch is included and will be arranged at Abu Shakra restaurant. In the late afternoon you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight Four Seasons Nile Plaza.

Day 03

Cairo

Today with your private driver and Egyptologist you will have a full day of sightseeing. Your day will include a visit to Memphis, Sakkara,  the Citadel of Salah El Din (Saladin), Mohammed Ali Mosque, old churches and Synagogue. This afternoon you will drive through old Cairo and the old Bazaar for sightseeing and shopping. Lunch is included and will be arranged at Naguib Mahfouz restaurant. Overnight Four Seasons Nile Plaza.

Day 04

Cairo/Luxor - Nile Cruise

Morning transfer to the Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor where you will board your boat for the Nile cruise. After lunch, depart with your private Egyptologist to tour Luxor’s West Bank – Thebes. Sightseeing includes the Valley of the Kings, and the Valley of the Queens. Overnight – Sonesta St. George 1 Nile Cruise Ship.

Day 05

Luxor/Esna - Nile Cruise

Following breakfast visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples. This afternoon, set sail to Esna. Enjoy lunch onboard followed by a tour of the Temple of Khnum at Esna. Ship sails to Edfu. Overnight – Sonesta St. George 1 Nile Cruise Ship.

Day 06

Edfu/Komombo - Nile Cruise

This morning you will visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus (built in 237BC), to honor the Falcon God. Sail to Kom Ombo where you will tour its temple along the Nile River. The ship sails to Awan this evening. Overnight – Premier Option: Sonesta St. George 1 Nile Cruise Ship.

Day 07

Aswan - Nile Cruise

This morning tour the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, overnight on the ship in Aswan. Overnight – Sonesta St. George 1 Nile Cruise Ship.

Day 08

Aswan/Abu Simbel

This morning you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. At Abu Simbel you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the temple of Ramses II and his favorite wife Nefertari. Fly back to Aswan where you will enjoy a private felucca ride on the Nile River. Overnight: Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Hotel.

Day 09

Cairo

After breakfast, enjoy the morning at leisure. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Transfer to your hotel where you will have the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight – InterContinental City Star Cairo.

Day 10

Cairo

Transfer to the airport this morning for your international flight.
