A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game viewing area.
Kaskaz Mara Camp is located in the northern Serengeti, a short drive from the Mara River viewing area. The camp is open year-round and features eight tented suites each with large netted windows, en suite bathroom with dual basins, flush toilet, rain showerhead, comfortable furnishings and private sitting area to enjoy the views. The main tent includes the lounge area with overstuffed seating and traditional safari style. Enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail before sitting down for a delicious dinner in the dining tent followed by time at the fire pit. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives and guided bush walks. An optional balloon safari is available.
