A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game-viewing area.
Acacia Farm Lodge is located on the Great Rift’s escarpment with views of the Karatu farmlands and a short drive from the Ngorongoro Crater. Each of the 28 chalets features contemporary, African-style furnishings, air-conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, flat-screen TV, WiFi, hair dryer, safe, mini-bar and a coffee station. Amenities at the lodge include a lounge, bar, coffee shop, swimming pool, gym, spa and a beauty salon. Local organic and fresh produce are at the core of the delicious, international cuisine served in the main dining area. Farm and town tours offering cultural experiences, nature walks and hikes, and game drives are available to guests (additional fees may apply).
