An exciting safari to Tanzania's Western areas that is designed for travelers who would like to experience a wilderness experience. Combine the open plains of Katavi and the lake-shore and forests at Mahale. The highlight of your stay in Mahale is chimp trekking.

Katavi National Park

Depart on your scheduled charter flight to Katavi. Enjoy two full days of game viewing activities. 3 nights Chada Katavi.

Days 04-07

Mahale Mountain National Park

Depart by scheduled charter flight to Mahale Mountain National Park. Remainder of afternoon is at leisure. You will have three mornings of chimpanzee trekking. Afternoons will be spent at leisure. 4 nights Greystoke Mahale.

End of Itinerary
