A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.
Ziwani is located near Lake Eyasi and is the ideal base for exploring this region. The eco-lodge runs solely off solar and wind power and features seven cottages with large en suite bathrooms and sweeping views. The rooms have been architecturally designed to naturally stay cool in the heat of the day while still allowing guests to feel connected to their surroundings. Relax with a swim in the pool or read a book in the shade of the expansive covered patio. Activities include time spent with the Hadzi Bushmen and Datoga tribe, explore the edge of Lake Eyasi or have the opportunity to spend time in the local village or school.
