The Nest @ Sossus

Classic A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.

Inspired by the design of the Weaver bird’s nest, The Nest @ Sossus is a private villa in the private Namib Tsaris Conservancy and backs against the escarpment of the Namib Desert. This desert oasis has seasonal natural pools and falls and a magnet for game moving through the area. Built entirely from floor to roof thatch, the lodge architecturally unique. The private villa has three bedrooms with private en suite bathrooms as well a children’s room and can accommodate up to seven guests. The main living area has indoor and outdoor living areas, library and open-plan kitchen. A private chef, butler and guide are on hand to make sure that guests are cared for.

The villa is 45 minutes drive from the Sesriem gate giving guests access to Sossusvlei dunes and Deadvlei days are spent exploring in your private vehicle.
