Mombo Camp

Premium An extremely luxurious lodge or permanent tented camp (five-star) with superb cuisine and excellent service, with swimming pools, and many with private "plunge" pools (small swimming pools) for each chalet or tent. Lodges and chalets are air-conditioned, while the tents may be air-conditioned or fan-cooled.

Mombo Camp, one of southern Africa’s most luxurious camps, is located on Chief’s Island within the Moremi Reserve. Built under a canopy of trees, the camp overlooks a floodplain teeming with game. Mombo accommodates guests in nine luxurious tented suites, each with a spacious entrance, sitting room with bar, separate bedroom and dressing area and en suite facilities with bath tub, indoor and outdoor showers and double vanity. Enjoy uninterrupted views from your private deck, plunge pool and swing bed – perfect for a midday siesta.

The entire camp is elevated and connected by a series of walkways which allows game to wander freely through the area. The open-air dining room, lounge and central fireplace provide the perfect location for enjoying a cocktail followed by a delicious dinner. Traditional and vintage elements, such as antique brass, aged leather and copper lighting, are combined with modern elegance to create stunning surroundings. There is a separate gym and spa with a lap pool overlooking the floodplain.
