Little Kulala

Little Kulala is an ultra-luxurious camp located near Sossusvlei. The eleven thatch-and-canvas chalets or “Kulalas” are set on wooden platforms and have both en suite bathrooms and private plunge pools. You may also sleep under the stars on the roof of their chalet—a private stargazing platform!

Activities at Little Kulala include morning visits to the Sossusvlei dunes, desert breakfasts under the camel-thorn acacia trees, and a visit to the Sesriem Canyon. Afternoon activities are taken on the private reserve, adjacent to Sossusvlei, taking in the desert scenery, the flora and perhaps a chance to see the animals like springbok, gemsbok and ostrich that survive in this harsh environment. The camp has a telescope and in the evenings the guides, who are trained in astronomy, will show you different sites in the sky. Optional activities include balloon safaris, quad biking and horse rides.
