Khwai Mobile Tented Camp

Khwai Mobile Tented Camp is set up prior to your arrival and you will be greeted by the friendly staff. The sleeping tents are large, with insect proof windows, comfortable beds with fresh linens and duvets and private verandas. Your private, en suite bathroom tent has a separate hot water bucket shower and toilet. 

You will be brought your morning coffee before your morning game drives. Washbasins are placed outside the tents and filled with hot water to freshen up before you begin another day of adventure.  On your return you may have an excellent late breakfast or gourmet picnic lunch when you then may relax on the veranda of your luxurious tent. Afternoon tea and a further game drive is followed by iced cold drinks and a delicious dinner. All your meals are excellent and are taken in a separate dining tent.

The main emphasis on staying at Khwai Mobile Tented Camp is walking. However, your group will have a vehicle and mokoros at your disposal allowing you to personalize your stay. The experience allows you to get your feet on the ground, leave your vehicle behind, and really appreciate the sights, sounds and smells of the Okavango. You will be accompanied by an armed professional guide at all times. It is also a great way to see birds and to enjoy quality game viewing, as walking offers you the opportunity to appreciate the wildlife of the area at your own pace.
