A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.
Amanzi, sister camp to Anabezi Lodge, is more intimate and ideal for those who prefer a more rustic feel. Four en suite tents are built on raised decks with an indoor shower and bathroom and private balcony overlooking the Zambezi. The main lodge features a large tented area with dining room, bar and small plunge pool. Game drives are conducted in four wheel drive vehicles. Safaris on foot can be organized, being particularly rewarding for those keen to be closer to nature. A channel of the Zambezi passes just beside the lodge and offers excellent boating and fishing. Good sized Tiger Fish and Bream catches are routine.
