Kirkman's Kamp was also an excellent choice.  The lodge was very charming stepping back in time. We were fortunate to see most species of animals and birds.  On our last drive in Kirkman's Kamp, we spent about forty-five minutes in the Sand River bed watching a pack of 23 Wild Dogs...the pups played around our vehicle. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and most attentive...the food was all delicious.
