Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Maria and her family immigrated to the US when she was 5 years old. When she was 16, she went on her first safari to Botswana’s Okavango Delta where she developed a profound love for the African bush and wildlife. She joined the travel industry and the Africa Adventure Company in 2011as she started college. She has continued her exploration of Africa through safaris to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania. Her personal favorite destination so far has been the Serengeti. Her other travels have taken her to Greece, Cyprus, Japan, South Korea, and Romania.
Maria’s experiences in Africa and her general love of travel inspires her to work with clients to help craft their dream trips.
