Nelson Natwijuka
Nelson Natwijuka, born in 1985 in western Uganda, boasts a rich and diverse background in the Ugandan tourism sector spanning over 14 years. He holds a Diploma in Tourism Management and has undergone specialized training with the Uganda Wildlife Research and Training Institute, as well as the Uganda Safari Guides Association, where he received training in Birding, Tourism Management, and First Aid. Nelson's dedication to expanding his knowledge led him to pursue studies in Ornithology with Cornell Lab of Ornithology, further enhancing his expertise in Birding.
During his tenure with the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) as a ranger guide from 2011 to 2017, Nelson gained invaluable firsthand experience and insights into tourism and conservation practices in Uganda's protected areas. His role as a site guide at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) in Entebbe further solidified his understanding of animals, birds, and fauna across the country's national parks.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Nelson enjoys various hobbies, including travelling, reading, literature, outdoor games, and photography. He is a devoted family man, married with two children.
