Cynthia has been involved in the tourism industry since 2002 as a tour guide and French translator. After graduating with a teaching diploma from Teachers College in Bulawayo, she began her working career in Victoria Falls.

She has worked in reservations, leading Under Canvas mobile trips (including the putting up and breaking down of the tents!), conducted game drives and enjoys sharing local cultural and history interactions. Cynthia can converse fluently in 3 African languages and also 2 European languages.

Cynthia is married and has 2 children. Her hobbies include bird watching and reading.
