Sabuk Lodge

Sabuk is a beautiful stone and thatch, five cottage private retreat on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in northern Laikipia. Each rondavel has private verandahs facing out over the river gorge below.

If you spend three or more days this is the perfect start and finish to a camel assisted walking safari. Walk with your guide and Laikipiak Maasai warriors through completely deserted tracts of wilderness. Each trip is tailor-made to suit your group, the distance planned and the time available. These safaris are ideal for children, they can ride a camel or walk, play and swim in the river or fish from the banks, special bushcraft skills are a delight for children on safari here: an ideal and relaxing family holiday.
