Royal Zambezi Lodge

Located on a 200-hectare private reserve, Royal Zambezi Lodge is built on the Lower Zambezi River and consists of 15 suites - eight deluxe and seven presidential & honeymoon.  Each canvas and thatched suite offer spacious bathrooms, bedrooms with a shady veranda and private plunge pool and are positioned for maximum enjoyment of the surrounding views with complete privacy.  The presidential and honeymoon suites have an additional outside shower, copper bath and private daybed as well as a large lounge.

The main area consists of an open-plan reception area, dining room and lounge with comfortable sofas, enormous fireplaces and a well-stocked bookshelf.  Whilst the large veranda built overlooking the Zambezi provides incredible views, both during the day and under a canopy of stars at night.  Guest can also choose to relax at the infinity pool or the bar, located downstream of the main area on a deck suspended above the river around a large Sausage Tree.

Activities include day and night game drives, canoeing, river cruises, nature walks and hiking as well as catch and release fishing.
