A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game viewing area.
Situated on the northern edge of the Laikipia plateau, Ol Malo Lodge is nestled into a rugged escarpment looking out across these time-honored lands. With only four cottages, the lodge offers the perfect mix of comfort, luxury and life in harmony with nature. A family-owned working ranch and wildlife sanctuary, the lodge gives a unique insight into the thriving co-existence of wildlife and cattle. This area is ideal for riding, walking, camping out, day and night game drives but ultimately connecting with the land and its people (most notably the Samburu) on a personal level.
