A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.
Ngare Serian is located in the Mara North Conservancy, a partnership with the local Maasai promoting the environment and wildlife. The 74,000 acre game concession features the Big Five and is in prime position for the annual migration of the wildebeest. The intimate camp is accessed by a rope bridge. Four tents are built on wood platforms and are decorated with colonial style furniture. The bedroom area is fitted with canopied bed, writing desk and comfortable lounge chair. The private bathroom includes a shower and flush toilet. The camp can be booked on an exclusive basis for families or small groups.
Private morning and night game drives and guided walks are offered. Optional balloon safari can also be arranged.
