Mwamba Bush Camp
Mwamba Bush Camp is located along the Mwamba River, a tributary of the Luangwa, in the South Luangwa National Park, and is ideal for those interested in walking safaris. Each of the four en suite reed and thatch chalets has solar lighting, outdoor bathrooms and shaded decks from which you can enjoy the abundant birdlife.
The main area is a bush-style “chitenge”, set under the deep shade of huge ebony trees, and a large viewing deck offering incredible views of the Mwamba riverbed and an excellent vantage point for wildlife sightings. Enjoy sundowners at the viewing point on top of a large termite mound, before sitting around the campfire under the stars.
Activities include walks, day and night game drives, as well as the opportunity to view game from the private in-camp hide, the Last Waterhole Hide, just a short walk from the chalets.
