Mosaic Lagoon Lodge is located on the Hermanus Lagoon, two hours east of Cape Town near the quaint village of Stanford. The coastline between Hermanus and Walker Bay is known as one of the best places in the world for whale watching. Accommodations include five luxurious safari-style suites with large sunken tub, en suite bathroom with outdoor shower. Each suite has a private patio with views of the mountains and lagoon. The Lagoon Café is open for lunch and late afternoon snacks offering gourmet cheeses, cured meats and freshly baked breads and pastries.

Beach excursions in an open 4x4, kayaking, guided nature walks and bird watching are included. Offered at additional costs are quad biking, picnics and wine tasting. Guests at Mosaic Private Sanctuary enjoy whale watching from the top of a sand dune on a secluded part of Walker Bay Beach.
