Makanyi Private Game Lodge is located in the southern sector of the Timbavati Game Reserve with over 22,200 acres to explore. The lodge features seven luxury suites and has a relaxing sitting area with its own fireplace, a beautiful bathroom with a spacious indoor-outdoor shower and separate bathtub. A private deck with loungers overlooks a dam where wildlife frequently visits. The main lodge features a lounge and bar, with comfortable sofas and a fireplace, the ideal place to gather with fellow travelers. The expansive deck surrounds the pool and has numerous chaise loungers to relax in between game drives. There is also a spa, gym and curio shop. Dining at Makanyi is a delight for the senses. Locally sourced produce and international dishes with a South African influence will tantalize you.
