Kwandwe Ecca Lodge

Classic A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.

Kwandwe Ecca Lodge features six luxurious suites with large living rooms, bedrooms and en suite bathrooms. The innovative, stylish and intimate rooms have glass sliding doors that open out to wrap-around decks where you will find a plunge pool and outdoor shower. Highlights of the guest area are the open interactive kitchen, a rim-flow lap pool lined with shaded decks and teak lounge chairs and library.

Located in the Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, this malaria-free game reserve is home to the Big Five and numerous endangered animals. Twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles are taken with your resident guides. Other activities are bush sundowners, dinners on the banks of the Great Fish River, picnics in the reserve, guided walking, hiking and canoeing, fishing, rhino tracking, sleep-outs, visits to hides and Pioneer cultural storytelling evenings.
