Kitirua Plains Lodge

Kitirua Plains Lodge is located in a private concession bordering Amboseli National, in the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The architecturally stunning lodge was designed to blend into the surroundings, in complete harmony with the terrain and environment.

Each of the 13 neutral-toned suites feature a striking contemporary design, blending soft linens with natural textures like jute, wood, wicker, and stone, alongside traditional Maasai accents. The bedrooms offer king-size beds, while ensuite bathrooms include freestanding bathtubs overlooking the plains. Each suite also includes a comfortable lounge area and an outdoor deck, perfect for taking in the surrounding scenery and views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The beautiful lounge includes a bar and dining area, styled in pale wood and soft neutral tones, with sweeping views of the plains. Enjoy flavorful international cuisine with a touch of local flair served on the terrace. On the opposite side, a wooden bar takes center stage with bar seating, small tables and comfortable sofas. There is a wellness center featuring treatment rooms, relaxation beds, a gym and open-air yoga deck.

Activities include morning and late afternoon game drives and local Maasai village visits.
