Hyena Pan

Vintage A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game viewing area.

Hyena Pan Tented Camp is located in the Khwai Concession of the Okavango Delta. The camp features eight comfortable en suite tents each with flush toilet and indoor shower, international charging facilities, electronic safe and bed-side reading lamps. The main camp includes a spacious dining room, two lounge areas with sun deck, reference library, curio shop and a small plunge pool. Dinners are frequently served in the open-air boma.  The camp overlooks a waterhole which is lit up at night.

Hyena Pan Tented Camp is near the Mopane Pan, a year-round water supply, which attracts a variety of game. In addition to morning and afternoon game drives, there is the opportunity to go on walking safaris or spend time in the underground hide, which faces a private waterhole.
