A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.
Epako is located in Namibia's Omaruru region and set within an 11,000-heactare private reserve. Accommodating a maximum of 20 guests, the renovated farm has a stylish atmosphere and each room has an en suite bathroom, air-conditioning, mini-bar, television and private terrace. The main lounge and dining area overlooks a waterhole with an expansive terrace to enjoy the atmosphere, spot visiting wildlife or relax with a cocktail. The executive chef shows off his talents creating dishes that are a combination of local and international cuisine, served in the main dining room or open-air terrace.
Activities include game drives and bush walks. Wildlife on the reserve include white rhino, leopard, hyena, cheetah and zebra.
