Chief’s Camp

Premium An extremely luxurious lodge or permanent tented camp (fi ve-star) with superb cuisine and excellent service, swimming pool and, many of them, with a private “plunge” pool (small swimming pool) for each chalet or tent. Lodges and chalets are air-conditioned, while the tents may be air-conditioned or fan-cooled.

Chief's Camp is located within an exclusive concession on Chief's Island in the Okavango Delta's Moremi Game Reserve. This luxury bush lodge has been integrated into the landscape so you can often view game without even leaving camp. Shaded from the heat of the day by a beautiful grove of jackalberry trees, the camp is so remote you'll feel like the only humans for miles and miles. Twelve secluded, permanent luxury bush pavilions are designed for ultimate privacy and comfort. Each features an en suite bathroom with outdoor shower, soaking tub and floor to ceiling windows. Enjoy time in your private plunge pool or game viewing from your own deck. The main lodge complex houses the ‘safari chic’ style bar, library and dining area as well as a pizza deck and pizza oven. There is also a gym and fully equipped children’s playroom.

In this "predator capital of Africa", wild dog, lion, cheetah and leopard abound, and you’ll enjoy exceptional opportunities to interact with this amazing environment. Game viewing opportunities include daily excursions in open four-wheel-drive vehicles and quiet mokoro trips along narrow Delta channels during the flood season (subject to water levels).
