Camp Kipwe

A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game viewing area.
Camp Kipwe is ideally located to explore Twyfelfontein and the north eastern region of Damaraland. The camp features eight tents with attached outside bathrooms and private decks. Views from each tent and main lounge area are spectacular and extend out over the desert and rock formations.
Activities include an "Elephant Nature Drive" which can last between 3-6 hours as you head out with your expert guide in search of the rare desert elephant. Adapted for desert conditions and walking in sand, they have smaller bodies and larger feet than the typical African elephant. Guided nature walks excursions to Twyfelfontein are also offered.
