A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game viewing area.
Camp Kalahari offers an exciting and affordable Makgadikgadi experience that doesn't compromise on style and comfort. The 12 Meru-style tents are built under thatch. Each tent has an en suite bathroom with flushing toilet and shower.
Activities include visiting a family of habituated meerkats, visiting Chapman’s Baobab, walking with Bushman trackers, exploring the pans on quad bikes as well as optional sleep-outs on the pans.
