Ant’s Nest

Vintage A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game viewing area.

A private bush home, Ant’s Nest is located on a private game reserve in the malaria-free Waterberg region of the Limpopo province in South Africa. Primarily booked on an exclusive basis, the rooms can also be booked individually. The main lodge consists of six classic ensuite bedrooms, a large sitting, dining, living room and verandah. The downstairs of the main house also has a comfortable library, dining room and verandah. There are two additional privately appointed double bedrooms away from the main house, each with their own large verandah and comfortable furniture.

Each day is tailored specifically to suit you, cool off in the heated swimming pool between activities, or relax on a sun lounger whilst viewing the wide variety of game that frequent the waterhole in front of the bush home. Guests can enjoy lovely views down the valley whilst also being surrounded by open plains where horses and other game graze in close proximity.

Game viewing activities include guided walks, game drives in open 4-wheel drives, mountain biking and horseback riding safaris and welcome riders of all levels.
