Ant’s Hill

Vintage A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game viewing area.

A private bush home, Ant’s Hill is located on a private game reserve in the malaria-free Waterberg region of the Limpopo province in South Africa. Built on the edge of a cliff, the lodge enjoys breathtaking views and can be booked exclusively or by the room, ensuring a special destination for all guests. Each day is tailored around your own specifications.

Rooms consist of two private honeymoon cottages, one family cottage with a master bedroom and 2 twin rooms and, lastly, a twin room situated above the main lodge with a private verandah overlooking the spectacular gorge.

The main lodge boasts a vast living area and dining room, both with fireplaces. A spacious verandah and deck overhang the gorge and are ideal for early morning breakfasts and evening sundowners. Ant’s Hill overlooks a waterhole frequently visited by a variety of game. Cool off in the heated swimming pool between game drives.

Game viewing activities include guided walks, game drives in open 4-wheel drives, mountain biking and horseback riding safaris and welcome riders of all levels.
