Itinerary Description

This safari highlights true adventure and fantastic game viewing in Botswana's Okavango Delta and Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park combined with some sightseeing in Cape Town and Victoria Falls. Experience the thrill of walking safaris in Hwange, game viewing by boat in the Okavango Delta and day and night game drives. We have included scheduled touring in Cape Town and you have a full day at leisure in Victoria Falls to enjoy optional activities.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01+02

USA/Johannesburg

Depart today on your overnight international flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and escorted to your hotel. Overnight African Rock Hotel. 

Day 03-06

Johannesburg/Victoria Falls/Hwange

Take the hotel shuttle back to the airport. Depart today on your scheduled inter-Africa flight from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls. On arrival you will be met by your pilot and continue on your scheduled charter flight to Hwange. Enjoy days of game viewing in remote regions of the park. Value Option: 4 nights Davison’s Camp or Camp Hwange. Classic Option: 4 nights Little Makalolo Camp or Linkwasha Camp.

Day 07+08

Hwange/Victoria Falls

You will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure. Value Option: 2 nights llala Lodge. Classic Option: 2 nights Victoria Falls Hotel.

Day 09-11

Victoria Falls/Kasane/Okavango Delta

Following breakfast, transfer to the Kasane Airport for your scheduled charter flight to your camp located in the Okavango Delta. Enjoy two days of activities. Value Option: 3 nights Gomoti Plains or Sable Alley. Classic Option: 3 nights Splash Camp or Qorokwe.

Day 12-14

Okavango Delta/Maun/Cape Town

Following breakfast in camp, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Maun. Connect to your scheduled Inter-Africa flight to Cape Town. On arrival in Cape Town you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy your scheduled group full-day Peninsula tour. Also, it will be a leisurely experience as you explore the Cape’s wine route towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. Value Option: 3 nights Vineyard Hotel. Classic Option: 3 nights Cape Cadogan or Clarendon Bantry Bay.

Day 15+16

Cape Town/Johannesburg/USA

Enjoy the morning at leisure. Transfer to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Johannesburg. Continue onward overnight to the USA.
